Sand Creek's 5th graders ended the school year with incredibly creative projects demonstrating art movements of their choosing. Surrealism was a very popular choice among our young artists, and many also chose to exemplify Realism or Pop Art in their final works.

1st Grade Self Portraits

Sand Creek's 1st Grade artists created incredible self-portraits, using symbols and other visual features to convey their unique personalities! 



4th Grade Pop Art Self Portraits

Inspired by the Pop Art of Andy Warhol, Sand Creek 4th Grade artists created "celebrity" pop art self-portraits using bright, contrasting colors.
